Development Blog #2 - 30/01/2015

By Robert Settle on 30th January 2015

After launching less than a fortnight ago, we’ve been working very hard on improving our brand new eSports platform based on your feedback. As some of you may have already noticed, overnight we released a fresh set of updates that are designed to enhance your experience on our platform.

One of the most significant changes is that team captains can now assign team members as co-captains, granting them the ability to invite players, report & dispute results as well as join/ leave tournaments.

In addition to the new team management functionality, members of a team are now able to leave the team whenever they want. However, keep in mind that you'll still be expected to play in any outstanding tournaments that you were signed up for prior to leaving the team.

Outstanding notifications have been made much clearer through the use of numbers, enabling you to see how many outstanding actions there are. We've also simplified the path to your team's fixtures and results, making it easier and faster for you to report your team’s matches.

A full list of updates is as follows:

  • Added option for captains and co-captains to revoke pending user invites

  • Added option for captains and co-captains to remove members from a team

  • Added option for co-captains to sign up their team to a tournament

  • Added option for co-captains to report/ confirm/ dispute a match result
