Development Blog #6 - 17/05/2015

By Robert Settle on 18th May 2015

Yesterday we released our biggest set of updates since the launch of our new platform, which focuses on improving our support for users across Europe. We've spent a lot of time localising the platform so that it can be translated into other languages, and will be adding additional language support in the near future.

If there is anyone who would like to volunteer to help us translate the website into other languages, you can contact us at [email protected].

In addition to this, all times and dates displayed on the website will now be displayed in your local time zone. You can configure your local time zone by editing your profile.

A full list of updates is as follows:

Localisation Updates

  • Localisation of website to allow for the platform to be translated into other languages

  • Inclusion of user specific timezones

  • Automatic periodic location recognition

  • Added ability to restrict tournament entries based on user locations

UI Updates

  • Updated tournament display to better highlight key information

  • Added team invites to the notification display.

  • Updated signup form display

  • Added autosuggest functionality when inviting members

The next set of updates will focus on further improving the tournament experience for users. If you have any issues or suggestions please feel free to leave a comment below or email us at [email protected] and we'll be in touch.
